The *Thermaleo Group* is a Family Business that was created in 2004 during the privatization process of the Thermal Spa Company Uzdrowisko Szczawnica.* The Company developed its activities in sectors such as Hotels, Gastronomy, Culture and Leisure. Main shareholder of the company Uzdrowisko Szczawnica, the Thermaleo Group actively takes part in the renewal, the re-development and modernization of the “Queen of Polish Thermal Spa”, targeting to bring the city of Szczawnica at the top range of touristic, relaxing and attracting spots of the country.

Keeping this in mind, the company started to work on what made Szczawnica so unique. Therefore, one of the first project was to bring back, in 2008, the Water-Bar to its historical place, on the Dietla Square. Meanwhile was built the new Café Helenka (www.cafe-helenka.pl). Melding in with its surroundings, the Café Helenka elegantly couples architectural Polish traditions with its contemporary decoration. Since then, this place has become the trendy place to be for those who want to enjoy an afternoon tea on the sunny lounge terraces.

The opening of the Modrzewie Park Hotel at the end of 2009 (www.mparkhotel.com) is part of this whole development. Among other projects, the Thermaleo Group plans to work, within the coming years, on different schemes such as the restructuration of all the parks of the city, the reconstruction and operation of the old famous theatre Dworzec Goscinny, destroyed by fire in 1962, the reconstruction of the 7 000 m2 Thermal Care Center by giving it a brand new “look” that respects local surroundings and architecture.
